Music Opera and Theatre Organization – MOTO invites young artists interested in education, creation and professional work in the field of opera art to apply for an open call.

Within the framework of project “Opera: Past, Present, Perfect!”, under the auspices of the Creative Europe program, MOTO announces an open call for young opera artists and those who want to become one– singers, conductors, instrumentalists, accompanists, composers and directors up to 30 years of age. During the next two years, young artists will have the opportunity to improve their skills through lectures, master classes, workshops, opera productions and public presentations, under mentorship of leading experts, artists and professionals from Serbia and abroad.
Main scope of the Action is to connect and educate young professionals with a view to establishcross-sectoral,cross-national and intergenerational dialogue, collaboration and expertise exchange to (re)position opera as interdisciplinary and authentic European art form.
Key objective of this Action is to affirm opera art through reconsideration of its context and relevance in the modern world, with activities directed at capacity building – training, education and improving competencies of end users and beneficiaries, using the advantages of up-to-date technologies in advertising and production, and synergy of intergenerational dialogue.
The specific objectives of the Action are to create a strong network of young professionals involved in the process of creating opera productions (vocal artist, instrumentalists – orchestra members, piano accompanists, visual artist, theater directors, composers and librettists) offering them an opportunity to study with leading authorities from different artfields, and to help them in search of a new, contemporary context of opera as such.
